Week 4...

This week we had a lecture on how to draw a proper measured drawing. When doing a measured drawing we have to know even since detail of the object. for example a table with a drawer, we have to know how is it assembled, how does it function, the components used to make the table, the location or position of every component used in order to produce a proper measured drawing.
Sound hard... because it is...
Our lectures then tested us asking us to sketch out a drawer using our imagination with all the key components required for a drawer to function properly.
And the final result is below.

Homework...

For this week we had to draw a wardrobe. The lecture asked us to pick either section, 3D view or blow up to explain the wardrobe as clearly as possible. So I drew out both a 3D view and the blow up to emphasize the door hinge.

Week 3!

For this week in class we had to draw a plan elevation and section for built in cabinet we picked before hand. Working in the same group we measured the cabinet and drew out the detail drawing for the furniture. Here is the picture of the furniture we picked.

Continuous of the Second Assignment...

We had to go back and remeasure the furniture that we picked and draw a sketch drawing that is to scale. The reason is to try to get our detail drawing to be as perfect as we possibly can while learning the correct method when doing a detailing and working drawings.
Here is the final outcome...

Second task!

For our second task we had to group together in a group of 4 and draw out the detailing for a furniture that was laying around in the class. We are required to sketch out 1 Plan, 2 Elevation and 1 Section in 15 minutes and then present it to the class. Here's some pictures of the furniture (swivel chair) that we picked...

And in the 15 minutes that was given we only manage to draw 1 plan and 1 elevation which had a lot of detailing mistakes...

First Task!

For our very first task our lectures asked us to go hunting for a B5 size sketch book from any Daiso outlets, and then customize the front cover with my name and any design that I liked. So I wanted to try something new and interesting which was freestyle doodling. So here is the results...
